Although we here at Fuck Yeah Sherlock Fics are officially on hiatus, we’re not going to leave you high and dry for fic. With several requests pending, and no time to fill them, we’ve decided it’s best to provide you with the resources to find the fics you’re looking on your own.
In other words, here is the complete list of all the Sherlock BBC rec lists we have accumulated over the months:
As veteran fangirls, let us just say that rec lists are always the best place to go for a quick fix of good fic. (While navigating the ocean of fic may be fun at times, I’m more of an instant gratification kind of girl.)
Enjoy procrastinating, loyal followers! It’s been fun! We hope you find all that you’re looking for in this mountain of fic!

Summary: It’s never felt like this before, like wanting to say, “I’d rather not, but if you wanted, I’d get on my knees for you.” Because John is a dom, and Sherlock is a dom, and John wants him anyways. Except, one of these things is not quite true.
Why read it: This was an interesting verse to read. In an AU in which everyone is either submissive or Dominant, Sherlock has difficulties forming relationships with anyone. Most people assume he’s a Dom, and he’s constantly being hit on by either subs or switches.
Unfortunately, forming a relationship with a Dom has always involved putting his personal life before his cases, which is something that Sherlock is just not willing to do.
Notes: This fic has two prequels, You Need Someone (But It Wont Be Me) and It’s Easy To Trust Someone Who Can’t Break You. Both of these are Lestrade/Sherlock, although the second deals more with Sherlock and John’s progressing relationship. I would really encourage everyone to read these before reading the final fic.
This verse was found for the request: “haven’t read any good BDSM fic lately. Dear Jumper & Scarf, please will you fix it for me to give me some good porn to read” There’s not much porn, dear, but I hope it helps.

Summary: From the kink!meme prompt:
Old!Sherlock is diagnosed with dementia. As his memory loss progresses, he writes little reminders and puts them up everywhere—reminders on pretty much anything, from the day’s errands to observations or random facts to memories.
Why read it:
OH GOD. HOW CAN 1,237 WORDS MAKE ME CRY??? THIS IS WHY SCARF READS ALL THE ANGSTY FICS. IT SHOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE FOR SOMETHING TO BE THIS BEAUTIFUL AND HEARTBREAKING AT ONCE.
Notes: This was found because a couple people made specific requests for it. GODDAMN YOU. I WOULDN’T HAVE READ THIS IF IT WEREN’T FOR YOU. NOW MY MAKEUP IS ALL OVER MY FACE AND MY FEELINGS ARE DYING.
