Summary: Sherlock’s been acting strangely for days. There’s a claustrophobic silence to the flat, experiments tossed aside or abandoned, cases ignored. It’s almost as if nothing matters any more. John’s determined to know why.
Why read it: It’s the end of the world as we know it. It’s the end of the world as we know it and I feel - horrible actually.
Everything is ending, nothing matters, and goddamn it how are you supposed to just accept that? Anger? Or should we be better people and say goodbye to whatever family would care? Hedonism? Personally that seems like a good way to me. But what about human dignity in the face of sure destruction? It’s the end of the fucking world.

Apparently I scare people with my trippy why read. It was 4:00 in the morning people! Everything seemed philosophical at the time. I was waxing poetic to my stuffed zebra. Scarf was scared. Also, this fic is an emotional roller coaster like no other. Don’t let my ramblings turn you off. Give it a shot.
